About Me

I am a German national and was brought up in Germany. After having studied English combined with legal studies as well as Spanish, I graduated as translator and interpreter at  Sprachen- und Dolmetscherinstitut Munich in December 1991 and have been a publicly appointed and sworn translator and interpreter for the English language since 1991. 

My mother tongue is German, but I have lived in South Africa for several years and can meanwhile look back on more than 20 years of professional experience in an international environment, handling business negotiations on 4 continents.  

Having worked as Translator and Trademarks Specialist for a Munich-based law-firm for 2 years, then as Legal Manager and Head of IP for a German luxury goods group with about 4000 employees for more than 10 years, and afterwards as Director for the local subsidiary of a Germany company in the engineering field  in South Africa between 2008 and 2011, I cannot only help you with language skills as a translator and interpreter, but also know about negotiating and how to assist you in creating the right basis for your business relationships in the field of intercultural communication.
